Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering, NOC, NRE, or NetDevOps roles across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, and Data Center technologies.
• Strong routing and switching proficiency (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, VRFs, HSRP/VRRP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, QoS).
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/Jenkins/GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes, NetBox/Nautobot, and ServiceNow integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation workflows and approvals.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and integrate with NetBox/Nautobot and ServiceNow.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Network Reliability Engineer (L3) with a strong background in enterprise network environments, NetDevOps, and automation. In this role, you will bridge traditional networking domains (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, Data Center) with modern software engineering practices, driving automation workflows, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and resilient network design.

Key Responsibilities

• NetDevOps & Automation: Design, build, and maintain automation workflows and approvals using Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Ansible, Terraform, and Git.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & CI/CD: Implement configuration and lifecycle management. Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions, and integrate with Source of Truth platforms (NetBox/Nautobot) and ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
• Containerization: Deploy and manage applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
• Security & SD-WAN Operations: Oversee Fortinet security fabrics, firewall administration, and enterprise Secure SD-WAN topologies.
• Reliability & Mentorship: Partner with network architects, operations, SRE, and application teams to embed reliability by design. Author technical runbooks, playbooks, and mentor engineers on NetDevOps best practices.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise network engineering, NOC, NRE, or NetDevOps roles across LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, and Data Center technologies.
• Core Networking & Protocols: Strong routing and switching proficiency (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, VRFs, HSRP/VRRP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and QoS) alongside domain experience in enterprise LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center (Nexus/ACI), WLAN, firewalls, and load balancers.
• NetDevOps & Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes, NetBox/Nautobot, and ServiceNow integrations, plus network automation libraries (Netmiko, NAPALM, pyATS).
• Security & Fortinet Mastery: Comprehensive expertise in FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiAuthenticator (MFA, RADIUS, TACACS+), FortiEMS, FortiOS lifecycle management, VDOM design, HA deployment, SSL inspection, IPS/antivirus, threat prevention, zone segmentation, and rule base optimization.
• Secure SD-WAN: Proven competence in Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, SLA-based path selection, overlay VPN management, WAN optimization, and link health monitoring.
• Observability & Collaboration: Experience with monitoring platforms (SolarWinds, Cisco DNAC, ThousandEyes, Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk/ELK), strong cross-team collaboration, root-cause troubleshooting under pressure, and technical documentation/mentorship skills.
