This Network Production Engineer role blends software and networking to own end-to-end design, deployment, and operations across backbone, data center, and edge networks.

You will develop automation, QA, and tooling to streamline product introductions, deployments, and incident response, while collaborating with hardware, software, and sourcing teams to drive

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing, building and operating scalable networks.
• 4+ years of coding in at least one language (Python, Go, C++, or Java).
• Knowledge of TCP/IPv4-6, routing protocols (BGP/MPLS/ISIS), DHCP/DNS.
• Experience with multi-vendor device configuration.
• Experience developing software using AI models.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement global best practices and scalable network solutions.
• Build automation and tools for product introductions, deployment, release, and operations.
• Design solutions that scale across various network hardware platforms.
• Lead automation enhancements for CI, testing, release, and configuration management.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and sourcing teams to develop networking solutions.
• Investigate complex network issues across tooling, hardware and networks.
• Improve operational processes with scalable, automated workflows.
• Increase efficiency by delivering automation and removing roadblocks between teams.
• Identify gaps, plan execution, and drive cross-team initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotations and share lessons learned.
• Mentor team members and contribute to team growth.
