Job summary

Convoy of Hope in Springfield, MO is seeking a Network Partner Engagement Coordinator to support onboarding of new churches and ensure a positive first-gift experience.

You will place donor thank-you calls, manage church data in Salesforce, schedule first-time appointments, and collaborate with the Network Relations team to grow partnerships while upholding the organization’s faith-based values. This is a non-exempt, full-time role emphasizing clear communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • One year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; quick learner of CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Place donor-focused thank you calls within 24-48 hours of first-time gifts from new churches.
  • Manage new church data entry and input into Salesforce.
  • Identify churches with potential to become major partners and assist in securing first-time appointments.
  • Make outbound calls to churches for follow-up or engagement, including impact discussions with recurring supporters.
  • Follow up on leads from conferences and MarCom communications.
  • Meet KPI goals individually and as a team.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails from churches.
  • Collaborate with Network Directors and staff to streamline processes.

Ministry Function

The Network Partner Engagement Coordinator supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by initiating the process for onboarding and thanking new churches, assisting in scheduling first time appointments for the Network Relations team, and ensuring that churches have a great first gift experience with Convoy of Hope.

  • Places donor focused thank you calls within 24-48 of receiving first time gifts from new churches.
  • Manages new church data entry and input into Salesforce.
  • Identifies churches with the potential to become major partners to be managed by the Network Relations team and assists in securing first time appointments for Network Directors.
  • Places outbound calls to churches for follow-up or engagement — including “thank you” and impact-of-giving conversations with recurring church supporters or those who have upgraded their gift amounts.
  • Follows-up on leads received at conferences and via MarCom communications.
  • Meets KPI goals both individually and as part of the team.
  • Receives and processes incoming phone calls and email inquiries from churches.
  • Works with the Network Partner Engagement team in strategic planning.
  • Collaborates with Network Directors and staff to best serve churches and streamline with current processes.
  • Supports the Network Partner Engagement Director with project management needs, as assigned.
  • Fulfills all other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • One year of experience in a customer service role is preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Exhibits ability to manage difficult situations and individuals with tact and professionalism.
  • Has a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude that can be discerned through the phone by customers.
  • Demonstrates strong decision-making and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrates strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills.
  • Exhibits strong Mac or PC proficiency and working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn Salesforce or other CRM systems as needed.
  • Possesses the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with discretion.
