Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $19.00/hr

STRATA Networks is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Network Operations Technician (NOC) –Temp to join our Network Operations Center team. This is a temporary position. This role is responsible for assisting business and residential customers by troubleshooting broadband, landline, and wireless services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a professional, customer‑first attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to customer calls politely and professionally.
  • Assist callers of varying technical knowledge with troubleshooting and support.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to STRATA services, including DSL, PON, Coax, Wi‑Fi, bandwidth, email, end‑user equipment, and wireless services.
  • Provide remote support and guide customers through technical solutions.
  • Create, manage, and maintain trouble tickets in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Dispatch field technicians when necessary.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher‑level support personnel.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
  • Above‑average technical knowledge of networking equipment, PCs, servers, and printers.

  • Ability to remain professional and courteous when assisting upset customers.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
Working Conditions
  • Work locations will rotate between the Roosevelt Corporate Headquarters and Vernal Data Center based on coverage needs.
  • Requires working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time while assisting customers by phone at a workstation.
