Overview

CUMULUS MEDIA | Centennial, CO, the nation’s leading broadcast network, has open opportunities in our Westwood One Centennial Technical Operations Center for a Network Operations Technician. The position includes technical training for the right candidate.

Primary Function

Monitor broadcast networks to ensure that all systems maintain maximum reliability and provide 1st tier technical support and customer service.

Basic Tasks

• Ingest of content via satellite, Internet, ISDN, and WAN
• Audio routing and transmission via multi-channel satellite transmission system
• Constant monitoring, resolution and documentation of any network issues
• Provide technical support to commercial radio stations on a variety of technical platforms
• Escalate issues as needed to 2nd tier technical staff
• Problem resolution and escalation with established trouble ticketing system
• Able to work in a 24x7/365 environment
• Other duties as assigned
