Job summary

Technology Partners is seeking an IT Manager - Network Operations to lead a team of network engineers and oversee enterprise WAN/data center operations in the St. Louis area.

You will coordinate large projects, drive incident resolution, and enforce SLAs while mentoring staff and collaborating with senior management. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of enterprise networking experience, Cisco/Arista expertise, Jira/Confluence proficiency, and U.S.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience managing enterprise network environments.
• Ability to work 4 pm CST to 1 am CST.
• Proven experience leading and mentoring network teams.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, cloud, and broadband technologies (VPN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, SNMP/RMON, and RDP.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional audiences.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must reside in or near St. Louis, Missouri.
• Commitment to security best practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of network engineers, ensuring 24/7 support and optimal team performance.
• Coordinate with senior management and IT teams to align network operations with business objectives.
• Oversee network infrastructure across data centers and branch locations, managing Cisco IOS, Arista, Nexus devices, and firewalls.
• Manage WAN connectivity for corporate campuses and thousands of branch offices, including routers and access points.
• Oversee resolution of network break/fix issues, act as escalation point for outages, and partner with third-party providers.
• Lead and coordinate large network projects from planning through execution.
• Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvements, including automation and monitoring initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and monitor performance metrics to optimize network availability.
