Sentinel Technologies, Inc. invites motivated interns to accelerate learning in a technology environment.

You will learn from solution architects, deployment engineers and team leads in a structured training program focused on networking, IT management and cloud concepts. The internship is onsite in Downers Grove, IL, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in customer relations, security practices and modern IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Networking, Computer Science, or IT Management.
• Knowledge of Cisco, Microsoft and Cloud technologies.
• Strong IT security principles and testing concepts.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Must have a car and a valid driver’s license for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

The Network Engineer Internship at Sentinel is a team of people who are passionate about making a difference by using technology.As an Intern, you will be learning from solution architects, deployment engineers and team leads. You will be a part of a training program designed to build your skills in customer relations, Sentinel history and technical competencies. You will have the opportunity to learn some of the most innovative technologies in the integration and support field.This is an internship opportunity onsite in Downers Grove, IL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a junior in college or higher working towards a degree

• Candidates should have a curriculum focus on Networking, Computer Science, or IT Management

• Candidates should have knowledge with Cisco, Microsoft and Cloud

• Candidate should understand IT Security principals and testing protocols

• Must have excellent communication skills

• Ability to work independently or as a team

• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment

• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required

• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
