Job summary

Sentinel Technologies, Inc. is seeking a motivated cybersecurity intern for the summer of 2026.

This role is onsite in our Downers Grove, IL office, where you will learn enterprise cybersecurity solutions within a collaborative SOC environment and apply classroom knowledge to live challenges. You will work with cross-functional teams including networking, systems, and support, gaining hands-on experience and practical skills to prepare for a career in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Junior in college or higher working towards a Bachelor’s degree.
• Major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or an equivalent program.
• Ability to multi-task in a rapidly evolving business ecosystem.
• Clear and professional spoken and written communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

Sentinel is looking for a motivated and curious intern to join our Cybersecurity team for the summer of 2026. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to learn about enterprise cybersecurity solutions in a highly collaborative SOC environment. In this role you can use your classroom knowledge in a live environment and put it to the test. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including networking, systems and support teams. This internship is onsite based in our office located in Downers Grove, IL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a junior in college or higher working towards a Bachelor’s degree
• Major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or an equivalent program.
• Ability to multi-task in a rapidly evolving business ecosystem
• Clear and professional spoken and written communication skills
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range:

$23.00 an hour
