Phase2 Technology is seeking a Network Operations Center Tier II Systems Administrator in Columbia, Maryland. You will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our client's virtual infrastructure, supporting global missions against cyberspace threats.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of Linux experience and possesses TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. You will lead efforts to modernize the network and ensure operational excellence.

We're looking for a systems administrator who specializes in Red Enterprise Linux to help us build and maintain tailored virtual infrastructure supporting global missions focused on seeking out and eliminating cyberspace threats to defend the United States and its allies.
As a systems administrator on our project, you'll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available and constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You'll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission‑critical network. You'll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset with tools such as Ansible, oVirt, pfSense, FreeIPA, Docker, Jira, and Confluence. We focus on growing as a team, so you'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. Salary is determined by location, experience, and contractual factors. The projected range for this role is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 annualized USD. This posting will close within 90 days of the Posting Date.
