Job summary

Dexian connects the right talent with the right organizations to deliver results across 70 locations worldwide. We are seeking a Network/NOC Analyst for a 5+ month hybrid contract in the Chicago area, with weekend shift and 7am–3pm hours.

The role requires CCNA or progress toward CCNA, Cisco routing/switching experience, firewall management, Splunk log analysis, and Checkpoint or similar security tool familiarity. Expect collaboration with vendors and ongoing troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Network Analyst or NOC Analyst/Engineer
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Route/Switch and network troubleshooting (firewall, route / switch)
• Experience analyzing routing and circuits
• Experience with log analysis (Splunk or similar tool)
• CCNA certification or progress toward CCNA
• F5 Load balancer experience
• DNS/DHCP servers and services
• Firewalls – Checkpoint preferred, monitoring and vendor coordination

Responsibilities

• Resolve operations issues and troubleshoot network-related break/fix problems.
• Analyze routing and circuits and monitor network health.
• Work with firewalls and vendors to ensure uptime and security.
• Utilize Splunk or similar tools for log analysis to identify incidents.

Network / NOC Analyst Needed.

Hybrid in Chicago and Naperville (will interchange).

5+ Month Contract (40 hours per week).

Shift: Saturday-Wednesday 7am-3pm.

Day to Day:

• Resolving operations issues, troubleshooting network related issues break/fix.

Experience Needed:

• Recently a Network Analyst or NOC Analyst / Engineer.


• Need prior Cisco Route/Switch and network troubleshooting (firewall, route / switch) experience.


• Analysis of routing and circuits.


• Splunk or similar tool for log analysis.


• Need CCNA or to be working towards CCNA.


• F5 Load balancer experience.


• DNS/DHCP servers and services.


• Firewalls - Checkpoint preferred. Need to make sure the firewalls are up and running. Traffic analysis, logs and work with vendors.
