NaphCare, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Manager to join our Corporate Office in Birmingham, AL. You will build and maintain hospital and physician networks, negotiate contracts, and work with executive teams to drive growth and cost targets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in healthcare, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred). This is a full-time on-site role with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in health care administration or business administration preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation and provider contract language required.
• Understanding of Medicare Parts A and B reimbursement required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiates, administers, and executes hospital and physician contracts in accordance with company standards to maintain and enhance networks.
• Coordinate bid proposals, including community health care research and fiscal analysis.
• Responsible for building and maintaining hospital and physician networks, including negotiating reimbursement rates and market research across the country.
• Responsible for contracting and operational issues for the life of the contract.
• Develop strong relationships with executive teams of network hospitals and providers to achieve network growth and cost targets.

Responsibilities for Network Manager:

• Negotiates, administers, and executes hospital and physician contracts in accordance with company standards in order to maintain and enhance networks to ensure we meet and exceed quality and financial goals.
• Coordinate bid proposals, which includes community health care research and fiscal analysis.
• Responsible for building and maintaining hospital and physician networks, which includes negotiating reimbursement rates, market research for healthcare services across the country, cold calling and contract language review
• Responsible for contracting and operational issues for the life of the contract.
• Develop strong relationships with executive teams of our network hospitals and the providers affiliated with our network hospitals in order to achieve network growth and cost targets.

Qualifications for Network Manager:

• Ability to work independently and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment and exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
• Must have excellent written, verbal, negotiating, and interpersonal skills
• Be customer-service oriented
• Have the ability to problem solve
• Be well-organized and work and perform independently with hospital executives in all negotiations
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in health care administration or business administration preferred.
• 5+ years of healthcare experience required.
• 3+ years of experience in contract negotiation and provider contract language required.
• Understanding of Medicare Parts A and B reimbursement required.
• Ability to interact positively with outside clients, coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to travel up to 10-15%
