Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Network Laboratory Quality Coordinator to lead the quality management program across the laboratory services department.

You will design and maintain performance improvement initiatives, collaborating with directors and managers to drive standards and analytics. The role requires 5 years of high complexity lab experience, strong project management and Excel/PowerPoint skills, and active engagement with accrediting bodies such as CAP, CLIA, JC and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• ASCP eligible is preferred for certification/credentialing.
• Five years of clinical experience in a high complexity laboratory with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Designs, edits, implements, and maintains quality management/performance improvement programs for network laboratories.
• Collaborates with laboratory services leadership.
• Schedules and facilitates regular network quality committee meetings.
• Coordinates with Media Lab leadership to ensure compliance with standards and uses Media Lab Inspection Proof software.
• Maintains network hospital lab policies outside the laboratory department (Policytech).
• Coordinates/mock inspections and provides resources and findings to management.
• Handles NJ DOH annual submissions for core/specialty labs.
• Keeps current with CAP/CLIA/JC/DOH requirements and trends.
• Facilitates CAP/CLIA/DOH certificate processes and maintains certificates.
• Implements and owns quality assurance software for laboratory services.
• Serves on laboratory/hospital committees.
