Job summary

SOMERSET STAFFING is hiring a Network Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments in a client-focused setting. The role involves configuring Cisco routers, switches, wireless controllers, and security devices, and collaborating with server, cloud, and security teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will monitor performance, perform RCA, and document topology and runbooks while ensuring security policy compliance and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Cisco SDN networking administration skill set.
• Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN environments is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise LAN WAN WLAN and SDWAN environments
• Configure troubleshoot and optimize Cisco routers switches wireless controllers and security devices
• Monitor network performance and proactively resolve connectivity latency and availability issues
• Perform incident management problem management and root cause analysis RCA
• Execute network changes upgrades and maintenance activities
• Support firewall load balancer NAC ISE and remote access solutions
• Work closely with server cloud and security teams to resolve infrastructure issues
• Maintain network documentation topology diagrams and operational runbooks
• Participate in oncall support and major incident troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies
