Core Avionics (IPT), Network Integration Modeling - Lead Engineer
Within the FLRAA Core Avionics Integrated Product Team (IPT), the Network Integration Modeling Lead Engineer is responsible for design, modeling and integrating the data architecture in models for the FLRAA program. The models are used by the aircraft flight computers to manage and share data across the aircraft digital backbone.
Developing, creating and leading aircraft network interface models is the primary responsibility including software configuration, hardware configurations, and system interfaces.
Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) is an avionics system architecture that replaces multiple, separate processors and line replaceable units (LRUs) with fewer, more centralized processing units. This approach leads to weight reduction and cost savings, making it a popular choice in modern aircraft, including FLRAA.
