Job summary

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking a Network Installation Technician to support senior network engineers on-site at Fairfax County. You will assist in deploying new network equipment, patch cables, and mount/upgrading gear within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

The role requires basic networking knowledge, ability to lift 40 lbs, and strong teamwork for project delivery. This is a full-time, on-site position with growth opportunities within Iron Bow’s technology teams.

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent experience supporting network administration.
• General knowledge of networking with familiarity of patching cables and configuring network equipment.
• Ability to lift 40lbs and climb 6' ladders.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects and meet target deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Network Engineers in the deployment of new network equipment.
• Patch ethernet cables to patch panels and network switches.
• Remove old equipment and mount new equipment.
• Install/configure uninterruptable power supplies (UPS).
• Additional duties as assigned.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Network Installation Technician will be providing support to more senior network engineers onsite at Fairfax County.

• Removing old equipment and mount new equipment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT INFORMATION

The salary range for this position is $27.50 - 30.00/hr. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.

Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bows total compensation package. An overview of our benefits is available on our careers page.
