Please note that this position is NOT REMOTE. This is a Supervisory/Managerial position accountable for overall design and performance of networks at the high end of complexity and high risk or impact for assigned organizational areas.
Manages multiple teams of network administrators and operations staff.
Accountable for portfolio management of multiple applications.
May be accountable for team leaders and lower level of Network Infrastructure Managers.
Interacts with stakeholders and high level business users.
Manages vendor relations.
Positions at this level are typically located in the central IT office.
This position will be housed in Hinds County but will require travel to the Jackson Metropolitan area.
To be successful in this position, you must combine strong technical expertise in networking and security with the ability to lead and develop a team, manage projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure aligned with business goals.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 8-10+ years of IT experience with emphasis on network operations and administration.
