Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to build and scale dedicated cloud regions and support a global data center network. You will drive automation, tooling, and operational procedures to ensure high reliability while working with customers and vendors to deliver projects.

The role requires 3+ years of network experience, a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and a strong understanding of data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

3+ years of technical work experience or Bachelor's degree in a technical program.
Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Understanding of data center infrastructure components.

Responsibilities

Clearly communicate project status and blockers to leadership and project management.
Perform device build and cabling validation activities.
Manage cabling vendor activities and QA.
Support deployment activities during change windows and migrate hardware.
Complete customer requests via Remedy trouble ticketing system.
Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues and deliver repeatable solutions.
Manage work through ticketing and collaborate with stakeholders.
Travel within geographical work area up to 40%, may include international travel.
