Job summary

Releady in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer to support planning, design, and deployment of telecommunications infrastructure across a large portfolio of facilities in the greater Phoenix area.

This contract-to-hire role focuses on structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, and low-voltage systems. You will review drawings, manage field inspections, coordinate with architects and contractors, and ensure project quality from design through turnover.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling and fiber in large facilities.
• Ability to read architectural and low-voltage drawings.
• Knowledge of telecom rooms, backbone pathways and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with Cat 6/6A copper and optical fiber installations.
• BICSI RCDD preferred; additional certifications are beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance for structured cabling and fiber infrastructure.
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
• Participate through design, construction, commissioning and turnover.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and facilities teams.
• Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and design changes.
• Conduct site surveys and field inspections for QA.
• Assist planning/expansion of inside- and outside-plant fiber.
• Coordinate installation of telecom racks and network equipment.
• Support testing, commissioning, and turnover to operations.
• Maintain infrastructure standards, docs and project records.
• Identify risks, issues and resolve conflicts with project teams.
• Support multiple projects across locations in the greater Phoenix area.
