Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer at Scott AFB, IL to oversee installation, configuration, testing, and activation of networks for DoD DISA projects. The role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Requires a BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s with less). Strong knowledge of Cisco/Juniper devices, BGP/OSPF, IP addressing, and DISA standards is essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 2–4 years of relevant network engineering experience, or a Master’s with less experience.
• Experience with DoD networks and DISA standards is preferred.
• Active U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.
• IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation oversight, configuration, testing, and activation of networks for DoD projects.
• Coordinate ITA and ensure DISA standards compliance across sites.
• Maintain and upgrade Cisco/Juniper devices and manage IP addressing schemes.
• Engage with project managers and customers to resolve requirements and approvals.
• Verify POC, location, and interface data for new service activations.
