Job summary

URM Stores, Inc. is seeking a Security Engineer II to strengthen our cybersecurity posture across our enterprise technology environment.

You will implement, manage, and continuously improve security technologies with a focus on firewall security, VPN/IPsec, and network segmentation. You will collaborate with network, systems, cloud, and architecture teams to turn security priorities into effective controls, participate in incident response, and mentor junior staff while supporting vulnerability

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity, network security, or related experience.
• Hands-on with enterprise firewalls, VPN/IPsec, network segmentation, routing, TCP/IP.
• Experience administering enterprise security technologies.
• Experience investigating security events and analyzing security issues.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and remediation processes.
• Understanding of identity and access management, MFA, logging/SIEM, and incident response.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF or similar frameworks.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, administer, and maintain enterprise security technologies and controls.
• Provide technical expertise for firewall security and secure network design.
• Review firewall policies and configurations for access and risk.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering on firewall upgrades and segmentation.
• Support security operations and act as Tier 2/3 escalation for investigations.
• Investigate alerts and coordinate remediation with IT teams.
• Support vulnerability management and reporting.
