Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network, telephone, and Media Center infrastructure in Newport, RI. The role requires mid-level technical skills and a SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities include copper/fiber cabling installation, network configuration changes, and meticulous maintenance documentation to ensure reliability and security of critical facilities.

• Mid-level infrastructure installation, testing, and maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and maintain copper and fiber optic cabling plant, including inter-building fiber.
• Perform remedial and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of infrastructure components.
• Install or modify network, Media Center, and telephone configurations.
• Update and maintain maintenance records and documentation.
