We’re an AI-powered fintech operating across 22+ markets, helping businesses move money in real time and convert payments into measurable outcomes like higher repeat rates, bigger baskets, and smarter customer engagement. Our platform combines local account-to-account rails, embedded cashback & loyalty products, and powerful data intelligence (Clever AI) so merchants can launch offers, optimise ROI, and scale faster - all through a single integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify & Develop Partnerships: Research and identify potential payment service providers (PSPs), banks, acquirers, gateways, and alternative payment methods across US, Asia, Latam and Africa.
• Engagement & Negotiation: Initiate and build relationships with key payment partners, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring strategic alignment with Hello Clever’s objectives.
• Onboarding & Integration: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process, collaborating with internal teams to integrate partners efficiently.
• Merchant Support: Able to effectively support and scale solutions for both existing merchants and those in the onboarding pipeline.
• Market Research & Analysis: Stay updated on regional payment trends, regulations, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities.
• Strategic Growth: Work closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to optimise partner relationships and expand Hello Clever’s payment network.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse partner performance, ensuring compliance and optimising revenue generation.
• Collaboration & Advocacy: Represent Hello Clever at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or payments within fintech, banking, or e-commerce.
• Strong network and understanding of the payments ecosystem globally.
• Demonstrated success in negotiating and managing strategic partnerships.
• Experience working with payment service providers, alternative payment methods, and acquirers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance in payments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
