Job summary

Swift Group is seeking a Network Evaluator to join a growing team in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will assess networks for vulnerabilities, identify weaknesses, and support countermeasure implementation across mission environments.

The role requires evaluating network traffic, system configurations, and security posture, with the ability to brief stakeholders on findings and recommendations. A strong background in cybersecurity is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR 18 semester hours of military coursework in networking/cyber topics with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in vulnerability analysis, network analysis, or protocol analysis.
• Experience in cybersecurity or network security domain.
• Familiarity with network security tools (e.g., SNORT, traceroute, diagnostic utilities).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess operational and developmental networks and systems for vulnerabilities and susceptibility to network-based attacks.

Education

Level 1:

• A Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, OR
• An Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR
• At least 18 semester hours of military coursework in networking, computer science, or cyber topics with 4 years of relevant experience
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Level 2:

• A Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR
• A Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience, OR
• A Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience, OR
• An Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience, OR
• At least 18 semester hours of military coursework with 7 years of relevant experience
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Level 3:

• A Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, OR
• A Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience, OR
• A Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience, OR
• An Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience, OR
• At least 18 semester hours of military coursework with 10 years of relevant experience
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

Level 4:

• A Bachelor's degree with 11 years of relevant experience, OR
• A Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience, OR
• A Doctoral degree with 7 years of relevant experience, OR
• An Associate's degree with 13 years of relevant experience, OR
• At least 18 semester hours of military coursework with 13 years of relevant experience
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required
