Job summary

Oklahoma City Thunder is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to maintain and improve the reliability, security, and performance of network infrastructure across Thunder facilities. You will design, monitor, and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, firewalls, WAN and internet connectivity, and ZTNA.

You will own operational health, security, and availability while supporting designated Thunder events, with a focus on SD-WAN, site-to-site connectivity, and high-availability networks.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience supporting business network infrastructure.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field; equivalency considered.
• Relevant networking/cybersecurity certifications preferred.
• Experience administering firewalls, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, and monitoring tools.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, NAT, DHCP, DNS, routing, switching, and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health, performance, security, and availability of wired and wireless networks across all locations.
• Design, configure, administer, and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, SD-WAN, and internet connectivity.
• Manage firewall policies, NAT, network objects, VLANs, IP addressing, routing, DHCP and DNS dependencies, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Diagnose Layer 2–7 issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable solutions.
• Monitor network availability, performance, security trends, and recommend architectural improvements.
• Plan and implement approved network changes, firmware upgrades, and infrastructure improvements with testing and rollback planning.
