Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage network infrastructure across 70+ clinic and corporate locations. This role drives cloud-first security and ZTNA adoption, ensuring resilient connectivity for clinical operations.

You will lead Fortinet and Zscaler deployments, optimize ZIA, maintain firewall policies, and coordinate with IT, security, and operations. Occasional travel and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure across 70+ locations.
• Lead a networking strategy and deployment using Fortinet and Zscaler.
• Administer and optimize Zscaler ZIA for secure internet access and zero trust.
• Manage firewall policies and firmware lifecycle.
• Implement internet redundancy across clinic sites.
• Monitor network health and resolve outages and slowness.
• Define network standards and baselines; report KPIs.
• Collaborate with security to enforce ZTNA policies and access controls.
• Support new location openings and upgrades.
• Manage vendor relationships with ISPs and security partners.
• Travel occasionally for critical issues or growth.
• Be on-call as part of rotation.
