ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC is seeking a Network Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining networks, configuring firewalls/routers, and ensuring security and documentation are up to date.

Responsibilities include coordinating external communications, supporting VoIP, and assisting with RMF drawings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience or 7 years in network engineering.
• Security+ certification required.
• Cisco network certifications highly desired.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical engineering in all phases of network design, development, operation and management.
• Plan and execute communication solutions for new Blossom Point missions.
• Define required external communications for new projects with Project Managers.
• Design, provision, Configure, activate and test external communication circuits.
• Configure and install Cisco and Forcepoint firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Create and update communications diagrams and flow charts.
• Coordinate with Cyber Security to meet network security requirements and patch updates.
• Integrate new equipment onto networks with on-site System Administrators.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP systems.
• Assist with RMF drawings and documentation.

ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Network Engineer to support our Prime program supporting the Naval Research Lab Blossom Point Tracking Facility in Welcome, MD.

Role/Responsibilities:

• The Network Engineer shall provide technical engineering in all phases of network design, development, operation and management


• Assist with the integration of new missions into the Blossom Point baseline by planning and executing communication solutions, resolving issues and adding new capabilities to the infrastructure


• Work with Project Mangers to define the required external communications for new projects


• Assist with design, provision, configuration, activation and testing of external communication circuits


• Configure and install firewalls, routers, and switches; primarily Cisco and Forcepoint


• Create and update communications diagrams, flow charts, and other documentation


• Work with Cyber Security team ensure network security requirements are met and equipment is updated with security patches


• Work with on-site System Administrators to integrate new equipment onto networks


• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP systems


• Assist with RMF drawings and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of relevant experience, or 7 years’ experience in Network engineering required


• CompTIA Security+ certification required


• Cisco Network certifications highly desired

Security Clearance

• Current Active Secret clearance mandatory. Musthave the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
