General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Network Engineer SME to support USPACOM J6 Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development from Camp Smith, HI. This role focuses on modernizing enterprise IT capabilities and strengthening mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

Responsibilities include designing and reviewing network plans, translating requirements into actionable designs, and coordinating resolution with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment (or B.S. in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience)
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
• Technical training/certification(s) required.

• Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development.
• Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.
• Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.

• Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for Mission Partner Environment (MPE) Engineering Planning and Development.
• Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.

• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.
