Service Delivery Network Engineer
The Role:

11:11 seeks a skilled Network Engineer, Service Delivery to help customers implement their services in 11:11's global cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Cisco Network Engineer. The selected candidate will report directly to the manager of Service Delivery Engineering and will be responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting networking configurations such as switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments.

This is a full-time remote position, based in the United States, preferably in the CDT (Central Time Zone), reporting to the Manager, Service Delivery Engineering.

What You’ll Do:
  • Act as a networking deployment engineer responsible for customer experience during onboarding.
  • Document work in the company ticketing system and create/maintain documentation in the knowledge base.
  • Provide accountability for all responsibilities regarding 11:11’s cloud network systems.
  • Work with project managers to complete assigned tasks.
  • Manage and troubleshoot networking configurations, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments.
  • Design and architect network topologies for diverse environments.
  • Pursue advanced certifications and stay updated on current technologies in the Cisco/VMware product space.
  • Develop and maintain deployment processes as technologies and permissions evolve.
  • Assist Support and Technical Account Managers with advanced customer issues.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, adhering to 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
  • Handle company data responsibly according to policies.
  • Review and follow company policies, data privacy practices, and complete annual compliance training.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Who You Are & What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of recent hands-on experience as a Cisco network engineer.
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP, IPsec, VRFs, VLANs, SD-WAN, and load balancers.
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware) and software-defined networking, preferably VMware NSX.
  • Experience in a global data center environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, and a desire for professional growth.
  • Experience deploying virtual appliances in cloud environments (Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Netscaler, F5, SonicWall, Juniper).
  • Experience in consulting or enterprise customer-facing technical support preferred.
  • Ability to automate processes to reduce manual effort.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
