General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Architecture and System Design Engineering at Yokota AB, JP. You will help modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Indo-Pacific.

You will translate requirements into actionable designs, coordinate across partner environments, and produce clear technical documentation for leadership.

Formación

• BA/BS degree required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in DoD/enterprise IT environments.
• CCNP or 8140 'advanced' equivalent required.
• Tactical data links and joint/coalition interoperability experience preferred.
• MPE network integration and system design engineering experience required.
• Final Secret security clearance required.
• Strong communication, analytical, writing and cross-team coordination skills.
• Experience with USPACOM, government site environments, and mission partner networks is a plus.

GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Architecture and System Design Engineering activities at Yokota AB, JP, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Indo-Pacific.

How the Network Engineer Senior Will Make an Impact

• Support architecture, engineering planning, and design activities for MPE (mission partner environment) Architecture and System Design Engineering.
• Translate operational and mission partner requirements into executable technical plans, designs, and integration actions.
• Provide tactical data link expertise to support joint, coalition, and mission partner interoperability.
• Coordinate technical requirements involving operational communications, network integration, and data exchange across partner environments.
• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Education: BA/BS degree
• Required Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
• Required Certification: CCNP or 8140 "advanced" equivalent
• Required Technical Skills: tactical data links; joint/coalition interoperability; MPE network integration; operational coordination; technical analysis; mission partner communications.
• Security Clearance Level: Final Secret.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.
• Location: On customer site at Yokota AB, JP.
