Job summary

Responsibilities include Cisco/Palo Alto management, Linux networking, SIEM tools, and VM infrastructure, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and teamwork in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices.
• Strong network design and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Cisco and Palo Alto devices and SIEM tools.
• Experience with Linux networking and VM environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and encryption devices.
• Perform network systems analysis and optimize networks.
• Administer Cisco and Palo Alto devices and related security controls.
• Implement SSH, host-based firewall, and web server configurations.
• Audit, harden, and maintain firewall configurations.
• Manage NetApp and other storage configurations and maintenance.
• Utilize SIEM tools (Splunk, SolarWinds, OpenNMS, Nagios) for monitoring.
• Create network diagrams using Visio and communicate designs to stakeholders.
