Job summary

Avangrid in Orange, CT is seeking an Engineer - Network to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network systems across campus, WAN, and cloud environments. You will support project delivery, troubleshooting, and operations under the Sr Manager - Infrastructure, Tech & Ops.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in network engineering; familiarity with Fortinet, WAN technologies, and cloud connectivity is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field with 2+ years of network engineering experience.
• Experience supporting campus/WAN/data-center networks.
• CCNA or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN/wireless/cloud).
• Assists Fortinet SD-WAN deployments and operations.
• Monitors network performance and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoots across switching, routing, and connectivity.
• Participates in upgrades, migrations, and project tasks.
• Documents configurations and troubleshooting steps.
