Job summary

Webstaurantstore is seeking an IT Professional to design, monitor, deploy, and maintain our network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other departments to provide reliable services to customers and clients.

You will lead network projects, troubleshoot site-to-site and remote access VPNs, and implement new technologies while creating topology diagrams and procedures for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Ability to mentor junior network engineers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, test, and implement new technology to be used in the network environment.
• Installation and configuration of network related devices and systems.
• Perform network maintenance duties as required (i.e. firmware and version upgrades, etc.).
• Configure and troubleshoot both site to site and remote access VPNs.
• Install/connect cabling for network devices as needed.
• Create and update documentation including network topology diagrams and network procedures.
• Analyze network traffic for troubleshooting and performance improvements.
• Provide end to end network support for a large enterprise.
• Assist other teams with the analysis of application problems.
• Project planning on larger projects and higher tier support.
• Provide network design and analysis for new buildings as well as infrastructure updates.
• Estimate network needs and costs for current and future projects.
• Mentoring junior network engineers.
• Other duties as assigned
