Job summary

CarShield is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join its Infrastructure team in St. Peters, MO. You will design, implement, monitor, and manage local and wide area networks to ensure secure, reliable connectivity and maximum availability for users across the business.

Responsibilities include designing new network solutions, installing and supporting network infrastructure, configuring firewalls and VPNs, and maintaining documentation and security practices. On-site work five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least four years of networking experience and two years of cloud engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN appliances.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, IPsec, VLANs, routing, load balancers, and network segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new network solutions and improve efficiency, security, and reliability.
• Install, configure, and support network infrastructure including routers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP.
• Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize performance and security.
• Administer web application firewalls and manage SSL/TLS certificates.
