Job summary

CBTS is seeking a self-starter with 3–5 years of experience in Networking and Information Technology. The position is on-site on the shop floor, installing hardware and configuring Cisco equipment, with wireless support and inventory documentation.

You will work with the Technology Lead on deployment tasks to support the Operational Technology Network. Role includes hands-on installation, configuration, and testing across network infrastructure, security patching, and collaboration on

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Networking and Information Technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands and feet support for remote service providers like CBTS.
• Physical Installs of network and computing devices.
• Cisco Router and Switch configuration.
• Support on-site equipment and wireless hardware connectivity.
• Server connectivity as instructed by the appropriate Server Team.
• Support Network hardware security patching/firmware upgrades.
• Assist with reading engineering drawings (tooling and hardware).
• Project support of network infrastructure related projects (design, build, deployment/migration).
• Assists with Network Obsolescence/Refresh cycles.
• Supports site network optimization and restructuring activities (network hardware removal, MAC, etc.).
• Support asset identification and network segmentation projects.

Maintain active machine inventory list for assigned site-based engine programs

Work effectively by engaging site personnel for discovery, coordinate changes to machines, driving tasks as required.
