Job summary

GRVTY is seeking an experienced Network Engineer-Technical Expert to help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments at Fort Meade.

You will own datacenter network design, install and configure Cisco gear, manage VPNs, troubleshoot, and support on-call and ticketing systems, with VMware virtualization experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Ten years of demonstrable network engineering experience (LAN) or fifteen years without a degree.
• Datacenter network design and architecture experience with Cisco gear and VPNs.
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design and administer datacenter network architectures.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.
• Maintain strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and L2/L3 switching.
• Support on-call requirements and live ticketing environments (Remedy).
• Work with virtualization products such as VMware and Solaris containers.
