Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in network engineering/administration.
• Strong understanding of network principles and experience with Cisco/Juniper equipment.
• Proficient in network configuration and troubleshooting methods and tools (e.g., Wireshark).
• Capable of managing multiple tasks with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, manages, and optimizes network infrastructure within the DHMS program, ensuring reliability, performance, and security.
• Works with IT teams and stakeholders to develop policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure DHMS IT policy compliance.
• Performs analysis and design of voice, LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and network management systems to support services.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of network testing and analysis methods and tools (e.g., Wireshark).
• Applies experience with SDN architecture, network assessments, and automated configurations.
• Keeps current with networking hardware, software, standards, and industry trends.
