Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize DHMS network infrastructure. You will collaborate with IT teams to develop policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure policy compliance and security across voice, LAN/WAN and wireless networks.

The role requires CCNA/CCNP familiarity or higher, a bachelor’s degree, and 7+ years’ network administration experience. A U.S. security clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in network administration.
• Strong understanding of network principles and prior experience with network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper)
• Proficient in configuration and troubleshooting methods, processes, and tools (e.g., Wireshark)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize network infrastructure within the DHMS program, ensuring reliability, performance, and security
• Work with IT teams and stakeholders to develop policies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with DHMS IT policies and best practices
• Configure and troubleshoot network equipment (Cisco, Juniper) using tools such as Wireshark
• Perform network assessments, automated configurations, and documentation development, including SDN architecture
• Analyze and design voice networks, LAN/WAN data networks, wireless networks, and network management systems
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system testing/analysis and networking hardware/software standards, best practices, and industry trends
