Job summary

CACI International is seeking a Network Engineer IV to design, implement, and maintain complex global enterprise networks. The Network Engineer IV will lead technical efforts, driving evolution of our network infrastructure to meet evolving business needs and customer requirements.

This role requires active TS/SCI clearance and extensive MPLS/BGP experience. The position emphasizes troubleshooting, collaboration with engineers, and adopting emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI clearance and IAT II certification.
• 10+ years of networking experience focused on engineering and design.
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, and security.
• Experience with network performance monitoring tools and Cisco/Juniper equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills; knowledge of HAIPE Type 1 encryption.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network incidents and coordinate with junior engineers.

The Opportunity

This position encompasses the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex, global enterprise networks. The Network Engineer IV will act as a key technical leader, driving the evolution of our network infrastructure to meet evolving business needs. This includes not only maintaining network stability and performance but also proactively engineering solutions to address new customer requirements and emerging technologies. Travel up to 35% CONUS.

Responsibilities

Troubleshooting network incidents, collaborating with junior engineers, and remaining abreast of the latest advancements in networking. This role demands a strong foundation in networking principles, extensive experience with routing protocols (including BGP and MPLS).

Qualifications

Required :

• Requires IAT II certification
• Active TS/SCI
• 10+ years of experience in networking with a focus on engineering and design.
• 5+ years of experience engineering MPLS and BGP.
• Mastery of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching, security).
• Extensive experience with routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, GRE, IPSEC.
• Experience with network performance monitoring tools.
• Proficiency with leading network vendors (Juniper, Cisco).
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong understanding of HAIPE Type 1 encryption devices.

Desired :

• Active Polygraph but can be obtained 30 days after start date for continued employment
• Experience with VXLAN, EVPN, BGP-LU, L2VPN PW, MACSec.

The proposed salary range for this position is

$94,800 - $199,100
