Job summary

Goldbelt Nighthawk, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer III to support the BIA Information Technology Support Services contract. The role requires on-call coverage 24x7x365 alongside other Network Engineers.

Preference will be given to Alaska Native and/or American Indian applicants. Candidate will develop system designs, policies, and network operational documentation in a fast-paced federal contracting environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum six (6) years of relevant work experience.
U.S. citizen; ability to obtain security clearance for BIA program.

Responsibilities

Develop system specifications, architecture designs, integration, and test plans.
Develop risk management and mitigation strategies.
Plan, design, and evaluate LAN/WAN and intranet systems and services.
Implement network policies and procedures; maintain network integrity.
Evaluate new products; troubleshoot network performance; document standards.
Design, install, and troubleshoot network systems (including wireless).
Perform capacity and resource planning; conduct contingency planning.
