Koam Engineering Systems, Inc. (KES Inc.) is seeking a Network Engineer II to design, implement, and sustain enterprise network infrastructure within a DoD NOC.

You will work on complex routing, switching, encryption, and security across multiple enclaves, ensuring high availability and secure operations. The role requires hands-on network engineering experience, DoD familiarity, and active security considerations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in related fields such as computer science, computer engineering, information systems, network engineering, systems engineering, software engineering or closely related discipline
• Security+ (DoD IAT Level II) or ability to meet requirements within three months of employment
• DoD security clearance eligibility and ability to obtain required clearance; U.S. Citizenship required

Responsabilidades

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, TACLANE devices across multiple enclaves and security domains
• Engineer and implement network solutions using TCP/IP, OSPF, VLANs, 802.1Q, RPVST+, GRE, IPsec, ACLs, multicast
• Diagnose complex routing, switching, firewall, encryption, multicast, connectivity, and performance issues using packet analysis and monitoring tools
• Plan and execute network installations, configuration changes, upgrades, migrations, and expansions with minimal mission impact
• Configure and maintain Cisco network and security technologies including Firepower FMC and related services
• Apply DISA STIGs, RMF, ACAS, vulnerability remediation, and ATO requirements
• Maintain network diagrams, IP address plans, and as-built documentation
• Coordinate with admins, cybersecurity personnel, government engineers, vendors to resolve cross-functional issues
