Job summary

Five9 is hiring a Network Engineer II for a 24/7 SaaS environment. You will own complex LAN infrastructure initiatives across Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, and F5 platforms, drive automation, and lead incident responses while mentoring junior engineers.

The role involves architecture design for data-center fabrics, integration with VXLAN, Kubernetes networking, and cloud networking in GCP/AWS, with remote/Hybrid work options depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end troubleshooting of complex LAN connectivity, firewall policy, and load balancer issues.
• Lead incident responses and post-incident root cause analysis.
• Drive automation initiatives using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD.
• Design and deliver data-center fabric architectures with VXLAN, Nexus Dashboard, and Calico.
• Mentor engineers and represent the network domain to stakeholders.
