Trace Systems seeks a Network Engineer II to support a global transport network for US Special Operations. The role includes 24/7 shift work, troubleshooting, and coordinating with NOCs and OEM partners at Pope Army Airfield, NC. Requires DoD clearance, travel readiness, and Cisco expertise.

The position is a temporary 12‑month assignment with potential extensions based on mission needs and performance. Fort Bragg area location.

Formación

Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
US Citizenship is required for the role.
DoD8140 qualifications required, may include a degree or equivalent training.
Willingness to travel worldwide with possible longer site assignments.
Experience troubleshooting complex routed/swtched networks and ISR transport systems.

Responsabilidades

Provide Tier II network engineering and operational support for enterprise and transport networks.
Support 24/7/365 shift work and field troubleshooting.
Monitor, analyze, and restore network services across multiple environments.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco-based networking solutions (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs).
Prepare operational reports and briefings for leadership; coordinate with NOCs and partners.
Assist with capacity planning, modernization, and lifecycle replacements.
