Job summary

Ellucian seeks a Network Administrator to support Pearl River Community College. You will configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network services including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and VoIP, aligning with security and performance needs.

Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, you will set up network operations, document configurations, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime across campus facilities and applications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• CCNA certification encouraged but not required.
• Experience with Cisco switching/routing and Fortinet devices.
• Strong VPN, VoIP, and wireless networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain network operations and provide assistance to site management.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and VoIP systems.
• Monitor traffic, troubleshoot outages, and document configurations.
• Escalate issues and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
