Job summary

Capgemini in Pascagoula, MS is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and maintain a large-scale campus network. This onsite role focuses on reliability, performance, and security of Data, Voice, and Video services across LAN/MAN/WAN environments.

You will configure Cisco routers and switches, monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with senior engineers to drive infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and wireless solutions.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, DHCP, DNS, and routing/switching fundamentals.
• Experience troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of LAN, MAN, WAN, wireless, and campus networks.
• Troubleshoot incidents affecting Data, Voice, and Video services.
• Assist with network upgrades, hardware refreshes, and projects.
• Monitor performance and availability; identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Configure and support Cisco routers, switches, wireless infrastructure, and related tech.
• Support DNS, DHCP, security devices, and access control systems.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and customers.
