Job summary

Eccalon LLC is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, operate, and support reliable, secure, and scalable network infrastructure. This role covers on-premises and cloud-based networks to meet business needs and ensure high availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.
• Experience with enterprise networking hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, zero-trust networking, or network automation.
• Scripting or automation experience (Python, Ansible, etc.).
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, JNCIS, Network+)

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents and outages.
• Implement network security best practices and access controls.
• Support network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and network standards.
• Collaborate with systems, cloud, security, and application teams.
