Job summary

Conexess Group is seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability, and security.

You will work with routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs; monitor networks, conduct security audits, and participate in disaster recovery planning. A Bachelor's degree and hands-on vendor equipment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or Palo Alto Networks.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient network architectures.
• Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, traffic, and usage patterns.
• Identify and troubleshoot network issues and outages to minimize downtime.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
