The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th nationally, and the undergraduate program is ranked 5th, by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus. With over 16-degree programs, including its world-renowned online MS in CS, we believe the College is the largest Computing unit in the United States and, as such, one of the largest producers of computationalists at all levels and across all demographic backgrounds. Network Engineers are responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing the institution's network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and high performance for all users. This role involves diagnosing and resolving network issues, implementing scalable and resilient network solutions, and collaborating with other IT teams to enhance the overall network environment. Network Engineers play a critical role in supporting the institution's technological needs and ensuring seamless access to digital resources.
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced certification may be preferred or required.
Required Experience Four or more years of relevant experience.
Preferred Educational Qualifications Master's Degree in a related discipline or equivalent.
SKILLS This job requires expert knowledge of and leadership skills in the installation and maintenance of highly complex information technology hardware and software, requiring recognized technical expertise. Included are skills in problem solving, decision making, technical/project leadership, customer service, system documentation and communications.

Salary range is dependent on candidates experiences and skills that ranges from $93,708.00 - $100,000.00.
