Job summary

AHEAD seeks a mid‑level Technical Consultant with a strong networking foundation to design, implement, and optimize enterprise networks. You will work on LAN, WAN, wireless, and security projects, partnering with clients and internal teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires CCNA (CCNP preferred), at least two years as a Network Engineer, effective communication, and a willingness to travel within the United States for onsite and remote engagements.

Qualifications

• CCNA and CCNP certifications (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Network Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and enterprise network operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the United States.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network solutions.
• Support deployments, upgrades, migrations, and operational improvements.
• Analyze requirements and recommend scalable, secure solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, implementation plans, and support materials.
• Monitor network performance and address reliability, capacity, and security issues.
• Provide technical support during planning, testing, and post-deployment activities.
• Communicate clearly in meetings, written updates, and customer interactions.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current with emerging networking and infrastructure technologies and pursue ongoing technical development.
