Job summary

Stanley Reid & Company seeks a senior network engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot secure WAN/LAN infrastructures for DoD/IC programs. You will lead network design, device configuration, and performance testing to ensure robust cyber and technical security solutions.

The role demands 12+ years of hands-on IT experience, Cisco CLI proficiency, and TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance. On-site work in San Diego, CA with full benefits, 401(k), and PTO.

Their team has extensive technical knowledge and provides compelling insight and tangible solutions to some of the IC’s most complex problems. Their prototype and systems solutions continuously support the warfighter and offer dynamic solutions for cyber and technical security issues our world faces today.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with IT and network hardware such as servers, workstations, routers, switches, and in‑line encryption devices
• Experience with both WAN and LAN networks
• Hands‑on experience configuring Cisco networking devices (routers and switches) using CLI
• Knowledge of network security via firewalls
• Experience with network testing/troubleshooting software tools
• Experience with network testing hardware from vendors
• Working knowledge of networking protocols and their implementation
• Familiar with modem cybersecurity
• TS/SCI + CI Poly level government clearance to start. Preference for candidates with a clearance held by NIWC PAC.
