stanleyreid is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to spearhead the kickoff of a new project in San Diego, CA. The role requires a TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance to start and offers full-time W-2 benefits including comprehensive medical for you and family, retirement plan, and PTO with holidays.

The candidate will bring 12+ years of experience, strong Cisco CLI skills, knowledge of WAN/LAN, and solid network security expertise to design, test, and deploy secure network solutions for DoD/IC missions.

Our client is a small specialized company providing multi-faceted, high-impact technology solutions to the DOD and IC. They have been in this industry for over 20 years and are well established in this space. Their team has extensive technical knowledge and provides compelling insight and tangible solutions to some of the IC's most complex problems. Their prototype and systems solutions continuously support the warfighter and offer dynamic solutions for cyber and technical security issues our world faces today. They are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to spear head the kickoff of a new project.

A successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of experience. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
• Familiarity with IT and Network hardware (servers, workstations, routers, switches, in-line network encryption devices, etc.).
• Experience with both WAN and LAN networks
• Hands on experience configuring Cisco networking devices, including routers and switches using Cisco Command Line Interface (CLI)
• Knowledge of network security via firewalls
• Experience with network testing/troubleshooting software tools
• Experience network testing hardware from vendors
• Working knowledge of networking protocols and their implementation
• Familiar with modem cybersecurity

This role requires a TS/SCI + CI Poly level government clearance to start. Preference given to candidates with a clearance held by NIWC PAC. This is a full time, W-2 position with benefits to include 100% paid medical for employee and their family, 401K, and 4 weeks PTO + federal holidays. This work is on-site in San Diego, CA. No relocation assistance provided.
